Sensor Fusion

Sensor Fusion is SVARA's technology that combines data from multiple sensors and sources into a unified, accurate, and complete representation of operational reality — the foundation of the Observe capability.

02

Architecture

SVARA's sensor fusion engine ingests data from diverse sensor types — cameras, LiDAR, radar, temperature, vibration, pressure, flow, and acoustic sensors — and fuses them into a coherent operational picture using Kalman filters, Bayesian inference, and neural fusion models.

Multi-Sensor Ingestion

Unified ingestion from heterogeneous sensor types and protocols.

Temporal Alignment

Time-synchronization of data from sensors with different sampling rates and latencies.

Spatial Registration

Coordinate transformation and spatial alignment across sensor positions.

Fusion Engine

Probabilistic fusion algorithms that combine sensor data with confidence weighting.

Data Flow: Sensor data streams enter through multi-protocol ingestion, are temporally and spatially aligned, and fed into the fusion engine. The fused output provides a complete operational picture to the Understand layer.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is sensor fusion important?

No single sensor provides complete operational awareness. Sensor fusion combines strengths of different sensor types, compensates for individual weaknesses, and provides more reliable and accurate information.

07

Comparisons

Single-Sensor Systems

Systems relying on one sensor type for operational awareness.

Sensor fusion provides redundancy, cross-validation, and complementary information that no single sensor can provide.

08

Return on Investment

Sensor fusion typically improves detection accuracy by 30-50% compared to single-sensor approaches and reduces false alarms by 60%.
